Active Committees:
Emergency Response Committee , is charged with development of a plan to involve residents in a community-wide disaster response and recovery plan. Residents are requested to contact members of this team and/or your BCPOA representative to volunteer your support (see "contact us" link for contact information). Additionally, we kindly ask that you visit our Emergency Preparedness Questionnaire to inform us of your needs, skills, and other resources which might be called upon during times of and emergency need in the community.
Current Status (August 2010) Basic content has been included in the web site (click here for a full review of our Emergency Planning section). Under new supervision by Maria Lynch, the Emergency Response plan is undergoing some revision. Look for updates from Maria as they occur.
Waterways Committee, is chaired by Fred Shaffer, BCPOA President, and includes Gary Lukich, a horticulturist and waterways testing expert, and Bob Provenzano, Board member from Greenbriar. Our responsibilities are to review the twice-per-month water quality reports, and to investigatge any issues with our waterways, pump station or waterway banks.
